Emily is one of my nieces, daughter of my sister Debbie and my brother-in-law Mike Held. I drew all three of the Held children, but this one turned out the best. Oddly enough, this one was the first one I did, and I was so happy with how it turned out that I decided to draw the other two daughters, Amanda and Hannah. Neither of those drawings turned out anywhere near as good as this one. I was working from photographs for all of them (this one coming from a picture taken at my brother Ryan's wedding), and I just couldn't get Amanda and Hannah to come out right.
