Rachael was a co-worker of mine when I worked at Lightbridge. I was taking Advanced Life Drawing at the time with the infamous Tom Flanagan, and drew several of my co-workers. I think this one turned out the best, which is funny, as it's one of the first drawings I did at Lightbridge.
I should say that while I think that Tom Flanagan was a complete asshole, he was an asshole in all the right ways for a teacher. He didn't sugar-coat anything. If your drawing sucked, he would tell you it sucked, but more importantly, he would tell you why it sucked. My drawing skills increased tenfold under his tutelage because he pushed me harder than any teacher I've ever had. I'm very grateful to him for that.
